O enredo para AvP3 é uma incógnita. Desde o início, os fãs queriam um filme Alien vs Predator que fosse em um lugar no espaço distante  e no futuro. O Diretor Greg Strauses criou apartir de suas próprias idéias um roteiro em potencial. Uma das idéias que ocorreu foi algo envolvendo a criatura do espaço visto no Alien original. Claro, um filme ambientado no espaço é caro e é óbvio que o estúdio não quer correr o risco. Se AvP3  ganhar luz verde  corre-se o risco dele acabar como outra pobre configuração na Terra. Shane Salerno também armou uma história para Fox, onde a nave dos Predadores caiu no Afeganistão; o filme gira em torno de uma equipe de forças especiais. POr isso para evitar um filme fraco criou-se um abaixo assinado on line com uma petição de fãns mundial a ser apresentada aos irmãos Strauss; se voce é fã de AVP assine a petição clicando no link abaixo  para petição aos diretores do filme:

The storyline for AvP3 is anybody’s guess. From the beginning, fans have wanted an Alien vs Predator film to take place in space far in the future. The Strauses had a few of their own ideas for a potential storyline. One of the ideas took place after Aliens and another one involved the space jockey creature seen in the original Alien. Of course, a movie set in space is costly and it’s obvious the studio doesn’t want to take the risk. If AvP3 does ever get the greenlight we could end up with another poor Earth-based setting. Shane Salerno also pitched a story to Fox where the Predator ship crashed in Afghanistan and the movie revolved around a special forces team.
